Updates
Here is another update...
Bess...
Bess is finishing up her year in the 3's at Shandon. She loves school! Frank takes her to school everyday since I go to work early. She immediately chooses a classroom job when she gets to school. Her top choice is line leader. If that job is taken, she chooses "spray plants." Baby Frank and I pick her up everyday. She is always so excited to see her brother! She loves "showing him off" to all her classmates.
Bess has taken ballet this yeat and her recital is coming up in 2 weeks. Thank goodness my parents will be there to take pictures, since I am so bad with the camera. She has asked to take tap lessons next year. She is very interested in the tap shoes!
This summer, Bess will go to Bible School at our church, and we will plan to go to the pool as much as possible. Bess did not love the water last summer. She was getting used to it by the end of the summer, so hopefully she will pick right up and will enjoy spending days at the pool. I am also going to sign her up for some tennis lessons. She has her Dora tennis racquet and tennis skirt and is ready to go! My tennis teacher teaches the 3's and 4's, too, so we'll give that a shot this summer.
Bess is very excited about the new baby! She really hopes the baby is a girl. Tonight she surprised me with a picture that she drew of the new baby.
Frank...
It is so hard to believe Frank is almost 16 months! He still usually takes 2 naps a day, which works out very well for Lauren in the morning. I drop him off around 7:45 and he plays with Ramsey for a while, and then Lauren puts both boys down for a nap around 9:30 or 10. I pick him up at 11:30 and then we go and get Bess from school.
He loves all food and is not a picky eater, thank goodness! I have cut out milk and apple juice and he is doing great. His skin has cleared up, which is really amazing. I just thought he had bad skin like me...All of a sudden, his skin is smooth and soft. The doctor's office tested his stool for all kinds of things...Salmonella, parasites, etc. and were all found to be negative. They told me to try the milk one more time just to be certain. There is no way I am going to do this again, though, until I am at home with him this summer. We'll try it again in a few weeks and see what happens.
Frank has been walking for several months and says some words...Not too many, but he is getting there. He can say bye, baby, da, ma, nigh nigh, and his favorite (pa for paci). He loves to climb on everything! One day Frank finished eating his supper before Bess. For some reason, Bess got out of her booster seat at the table. The next thing I knew, Frank had climbed up in her seat and was eating her food...And it was spaghetti. So messy! He and Bess love to play "throw the blankie" game in his crib. They both get in his crib and I take turns throwing the blanket to them. They try and throw it back to me. It makes Frank laugh so hard.
Frank also loves playing outdoors. However, lately there have been lots of creatures in my yard...Come to find out they are called skinks...And they scare the daylights out of me. This is another reason why I plan to be at the pool everyday.
New Baby...
The new baby seems to be doing just fine. I am 10 weeks and getting heavier by the day. I could write a book on how to gain weight fast...Go to Bojangles in the morning for a sausage biscuit, hashbrowns, and tea. Run by Rush's or Chick-fil-A in the afternoon for a milkshake. Do not exercise at all. My excuse for not exercising is that there is a bird's nest in my double jogging stroller. I am feeling yucky most every night so what makes me feel better is to eat!
My next appt. is May 22. The ultrasounds I have had have looked good. At the first one, they could not see a heartbeat b/c I was so early. I went in 2 weeks later and the ultrasound tech had to call the doctor in the room after looking for what seemed to be a very long time. She thought there might be a chance there were 2 babies! The doctor said it was one, and she was sure of that.
Celebrity News...
We have a celeb. living across the street for a while...Jake Gyllenhal (I not sure about the spelling of his last name) is in Columbia w/ Jessica Biehl filming a movie called "Nailed." Jake is living in the house across the street that has been for sale for a while. I guess now it is being rented. We have not seen him yet, only cars that go directly in the garage and the door closes behind them.
That's about all! I'll post pictures soon!

What we've been up to...
I have not posted in so long...Here's a little of what we have been up to.
Frank and I were in Mexico last week and had a great time. Bess and Frank stayed with my parents in Greenville for 7 days. They had a ball! I will post some pictures soon from their time in Greenville. I am so bad with a camera...We didn't even take one to Mexico. How bad is that?
The beaches were beautiful, and I loved getting sun by the pool and beach everyday. We went into Cancun one day and were thrilled to find a Chili's to eat a normal lunch. The food was not great where we were staying, so Chili's was like a dream come true. The other day that we left the resort was to go to Playa del Carmen, where we walked almost 30 minutes to find a Papa John's. It was the best pizza I have ever tasted. We both were so excited to get into the Memphis airport and have some real American food. With the exception of the food, the trip was wonderful!
Saturday, Bess and I went to see the show, "Princesses on Ice." She dressed up as a princess and had a ball. Of course, I think I spent more on the cotton candy and a few princess toys than our tickets cost. I think that is how it goes at shows like that. We are going to Disney World in September so Bess is all ready to meet the princesses in person.
Today was Frank's 15 mo. check-up. He is growing like a weed...25 lbs. and 31 in. We're still working to find out if he has an allergy or sensitivity to dairy. He has had a bad upset stomach off and on for months! The doctor said to stop with the apple juice and see what happens. That is one thing I had not even considered. But then I thought back to when Frank was 6 mos. and remembered he could not eat applesauce at all. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.
The last news I'll post is that we're going to have another little one joining the family...Dec. 4 is the big day! We're going to wait a little while before telling Bess. She has been saying for a while that she wants a baby sister, so we'll see...Of course, she also wants another dog, but we're going to stick with the baby for now! Things are about to get crazy at our house!

Holden Beach
Last week, Kayne and Anna Grace, Ashley and Lilly, and Lauren and Ramsey came to Holden Beach with us. We all had a great time! The girls had fun playing on the beach and dying Easter Eggs with Kayne. The little boys loved the park and had fun chasing the big girls around the house. This is the 2nd year we have done this Spring Break trip, and I hope we can do it again! Next year, we'll have another little one with us. Ashley is having a little boy in July!
