Day 2 - Magic Kingdom!!

We are excited! Everyone loves Disney and is having a great time. Here are some pics from Day 2.

The pictures below were taken on Tom Sawyer's island. We spent a good part of the morning here. We all loved exploring!

Time for a carousel ride. You cannot see Little Frank, but Bess is in the center of the picture. It was hard getting a good one on that ride.

Not exactly sure who these ladies are, but they weren't characters so Bess wanted her picture made with them!! Now, back to the hotel to rest for a little while.

Day 2 - Late afternoon.

I think we are waiting for the Peter Pan ride in this picture. Bess and Frank loved this ride! Bess loves Tinkerbell!

Bess and Frank in front of the cemetary at the Haunted Mansion. We can't believe Bess wanted to go on this ride, but she asked to go again the next day. What a brave girl!

The Franks on the Jungle Cruise. We rode this several times.

This picture was made right after we rode Pirates of the Caribbean. Frank had to have a sword! He was so excited about it.

We took a break and enjoyed the Country Bears show. Big Frank liked this when he was a little boy and Bess and Frank thought it was great, too!

A day at Disney is not complete without a trip to the candy store!

We all enjoyed spending some time at Frontierland!

Now we have a sword, gun, and princess figurines. We need to call it a day!

They were having so much fun, though...

Time for some racing!! Bess and Frank were great drivers. We did this several times.

The Franks went on a small roller coaster near Mickey's house. Little Frank was not so sure about it. This was his second one of the day. I took him on Thunder Mtn Railroad earlier in the day.

The princess castle was so beautiful at night. The children just wanted to sit and stare at it...which we did b/c everyone was trying to leave Disney at the exact same time so we just sat and waited!

Time for some more candy.

Bess could not wait to get back to the room to play with her Jasmine figurines.

Good night! We had a great day at Disney! We loved MK so much we are going to go back tomorrow!!

Day 3 - Magic Kingdom

Bess and Frank are on their way to the monorail...Frank's favorite part of Disney World! Notice...Frank has his gun with him today. He was taken with "Frontierland" the day before.
Bess waits patiently for the monorail...She is ready to get some more princess autographs!

Here it comes!!

For some reason, Bess and Frank wanted to stand up on the monorail and hold the poles. When nobody else was sitting on our side, we would let them do this. This really was one of Frank's favorite parts of Disney.

Bess and Frank loved the train at Magic Kingdom that took us from one side of the park to the other.

After the train dropped us off at Mickey's house, we split up. Big Frank took Bess to stand in line to meet some princesses and I took Frank to visit Mickey's house and to meet Mickey. Unfortunately, we could not both take the camera so I took it with me to get pics of Frank in Mickey's house and we will use the Disney photograph card system to order some pics of Bess with the princesses.

Frank is all smiles when he sees Mickey's bicycle. Frank loves all bikes, esp. Mickey's.

Frank also loved Mickey's bedroom and asked at least 20 questions about Mickey's bed, clothes, pillows, etc. He loved Mickey's "sportscoats," as he called them!

After waiting at least 30 minutes in line, the time has come to meet Mickey Mouse! All of a sudden, Frank was the sweetest little boy in the world. He was not on his best behavior in line...Constantly touching the ropes, trying to disconnet the rope from its hook, running into people. I was whispering in his ear for half of the wait time with threats to not see Mickey or a visit to the restroom if his behavior did not improve. It was not Frank's finest hour.

Well, as soon as the door opened for us to meet Mickey, he got the sweetest most angelic look on his face and barely whispered to Mickey, "Do you have a mama and a daddy?" With that one question, I forgot all about his misbehaving and for about 5 minutes, I just knew he was the most precious child that had ever lived (Don't worry, he got back to his old self in a matter of minutes). He wanted to ask Mickey all sorts of things like, "Do you have a car," and "Where is your car?" He could have stayed in there for days! Mickey had a hard time hearing Frank so I was shouting, "Mickey, Frank wants to know if you have a car?" Then Mickey would just nod over and over so I would sort of prompt him and say, "Your car is in the shop, right, Mickey?" Mickey just nodded and nodded. That was the most fun I had w/ Frank at Disney!

Frank and Bess picking out Disney cups.

After meeting Mickey and the princesses we went back to the hotel for a little rest and grabbed an early dinner. Then, we came back to the park around 5:30 and were ready for some more fun! The weather was beautiful. It felt great!

Another one of Bess and Frank's favorite things to do at MK was the racecars.

Time for a break and some candy!! Bess and Frank were loving the cotton candy and enjoyed the nightly parade and fireworks.

Time to go back to the hotel....Bess has been wanting to go to the pool so Frank took her swimming for a little while. What does Frank want to do?? Ride on the monorail. So, that's what we did. Frank and Bess hit the pool and Little Frank and I rode on the monorail...Then we joined Dad and Bess at the pool.

Here is Frank's toy monorail we got for him. He really loves it!!

Bess was so excited her brother came to join her for a night swim!
