Bess and Frank are tired from the week...but they are ready for one more day of fun!

Frank, Bess, and Frank are ready to have some fun.
Bess is brave! She has agreed to ride on the Rapids water ride. However, she said that she does not want to get wet! We forgot to mention that part to her!!
Here we are waiting in line for the Rapids...Little Frank is starting to fall apart...This is not good. It is early and this is the first ride for us today. It might be a long day!
Frank pulls it together for a little while. Good, let's have some fun!!
Oh no...If you can see from the picture, Bess is soaking wet (even her socks and shoes)...Not good. We have been at AK for less than 1 hour.
Frank is thinks it is funny and does not seem to mind being soaked!
Back to the car. We needed to "regroup." Bess's face says it all! Frank and I have to make a decision fast. Go back to Columbia and forget about AK, or change clothes and go back in the park? Well, we found some extra clothes fairly easily, changed in the car and went back in!! Here are some pics from the rest of our day at AK.
We turned it around and made a plan. First, the African safari, then Dinoland. Bess is SO excited about the African Safari.

The safari was unbelievable!! I wish I had practiced how to zoom on my camera before we did this adventure. My pictures were not great, but we had a wonderful time!

Now, we are ready to go have some fun in Dinoland!!
The playground in dinoland was amazing...Both children did not want to leave this part.

Time to go back home to Columbia. We had a great time and cannot wait to come back...next time with Who Who!!! Also, next time we will try to remember not to leave Orlando around 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. Traffic was rough, but we made pretty good time (b/c we made very short stops), and at 1:30 a.m. we arrived home safe and sound!!
