We are home!

Thomas "Hugh" Manning arrived on Monday, November 24 at 1:35 p.m.

He weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches.

We came home on Thanksgiving to NO heat in part of the house...The heat in the bedroom addition, current den, and our old room was not working and the builder could not get it fixed until Friday morning. Mama, Bess, Hugh, and I ended up at The Whitney (a hotel near the house) and the Franks stayed at home in the warm part of the house. When we came home Fri. morning, the heat was fixed! We are doing fine, but things have been oh so busy here. I will post pics as soon as I can. Hugh is such a sweet boy!!!

Disney Pictures

We are getting ready to go to Disney World...But first, we'll stop and get some Dunkin Doughnuts!
Bess is excited! We are in the Magic Kingdom.

Bess is all ready to get some autographs from the princesses. One of Bess's favorite princesses is Ariel.

We went to hear Princess Belle read a story and guess who was chosen out of the audience to be the Beast? Frank! He made a great character!

Frank turned into a prince!

Bess has always loved Cinderella!
One of her favorite parts of the trip was getting autographs from the princesses.

Bess enjoyed going into Minnie's house. Of course, Frank had to go in first to make sure Minnie was not there. Bess did not want to run into a character!

Bess loved the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Somehow I climbed up, too!

We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom! I wish the camera had not broken during our second day, but we got some great pictures from Day 1. We're looking forward to going back again (this time with Frank) in a couple of years!

Updates and a couple more pics...

Two more pictures of Frank from the beach...He loves playing with Big Daddy's hats!

Updates...
Our camera broke at Disney...This is our second broken camera in 6 months. I was handing it to Frank (we were in line for Princess Jasmine's autograph) and it fell out of one of our hands...Bess ended up not wanting her autograph or a picture with her anyway b/c Alladin was standing with her. She was not so sure about Alladin. The new camera should arrive today, and I will put our Disney pics into the computer and post them.
I went to the doctor Tuesday for a check-up. I am 36 weeks and still hanging in there! Not much has happened...Just a very little dilating so I am good to go for now. I go back Monday for another check. As of now, the date for the c-section is Monday, November 24 at 11 a.m., with me coming home on Thanksgiving day.
Frank is still loving school! Some of his latest progress reports have said things like, "I like to take my diaper off" and "I love to eat soap." I bet there is never a dull moment in the 1's class!
Bess is SO excited about the arrival of the new baby! She wants to come to the hospital and see him before anyone else does (She says she wants to see him first!). She is going to be such a big helper!

Frank at the Beach

While Bess, Frank, and I were in Disney, Baby Frank was having his own fun at the beach with YaYa and Big Daddy. YaYa and Big Daddy got lucky...Frank slept most of the way to the beach!

When Frank is asked something he does not know, he does his hands like this and says, "I oh know."

Big Daddy took this picture of Bess before they left for the beach. Bess was getting ready to go to church.

House - Beginning of Week 6 Pictures

I am a week behind in posting these pictures of the house. They are making some great progress! I will post what they did last week as soon as I can. Also, I need to get our Disney pictures posted. Bess had a great time! Hard to tell what this is...I was looking into our bedroom from where the patio will be. The opening straight ahead will be the door to the bathroom.

The covered patio and our bedroom.

The doorway from the "mudroom" into the kitchen.

Looking from the kitchen into the mudroom on left and laundry room on right. There will be a door from the mudroom into a powder room where the red ladder is. Where the white doorway is will be where some of the kitchen cabinets will be.

These doors will be taken out eventually and about half of the wall will be open to the den.

Our bedroom...soon to be Bess's new bedroom (a real big mess!). The cabinets are almost gone. Sheetrock was put up over the cabinets on the right and over the window seat. Part of that space will be our new closet on the other side of the wall. The part of the cabinets you can see in the picture will be covered up with sheetrock in the next week and the builder is going to be able to pretty much re-use them on the other side, in our new bedroom. I sure hated to see those go...We had so many things stored in those cabinets!
