Bess's Dance Recital Rehearsal

Bess has loved taking tap this year! Her Dance Recital is tomorrow, Tuesday, but here are a few pictures of Bess with her friends, Eme and Lucy, from the dress rehearsal today.

Hugh's Baptism

We celebrated Hugh's Baptism yesterday. I cannot believe he is almost 6 months old! Where has that time gone? It was a very special day! Hugh did a great job...His new medicine, Prevacid, has seemed to help him the past week. He did not fuss and more importantly, did not spit up, which is a miracle! The day was extra special because two of my close friends, Mandy and Elizabeth, had their little ones baptised the same time as Hugh. These babies are almost the exact same age...I know they'll all grow up to be great friends!

Short Update

We are all doing well! I have no free time anymore, it seems, so I have not been good at posting pictures to the blog. My mom laughs b/c once I told her that I had heard going from 2 children to 3 was no big deal! I change my mind!!! It is hard...very hard (but fun!), especially when you're living through a home renovation. They are still not finished, but we're getting close. I stopped taking house pictures around the time Hugh was born...I can't even seem to find the time to check e-mail everyday. The den/kitchen area really looks different. My favorite thing is having a kitchen sink (and the dishwasher has been nice, too). Washing dishes in the bathroom sink has been no fun! I think it will all be worth it, though!

Frank's 2nd Birthday

Frank celebrated his 2nd birthday with his friends at The Little Gym. It was a wild time, but he had the most fun! Here are some pictures from his big day. Frank taking a little break. This might have been the only time he was still.

The children having some fun on the parachute!

Ramsey had a great time, too!

Charles loved the balance beam!

Frank and Maddox are loving the jumper!

Look at Wilson! He doesn't even need help from Bess.

We all loved the cookie cake! Happy 2nd Birthday, "G!"

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas at YaYa and Big Daddy's house this year. It has been hard finding time to update the blog, but I wanted to put some pictures from Christmas Day.
YaYa and Big Daddy gave Bess a Barbie laptop, which she loves!

Bess enjoyed playing with YaYa's nativity scene.

Frank was upset because he did not want to wear his shoes outside. He had to pout about things for awhile, and then he found Bess's shoes to put on instead of his...This made him a little happier.

An upside down picture of YaYa and Hugh (1 month). It was hard to get a good look at him, so I rotated the picture.

Mema loved rocking Hugh!

Christmas Card Picture???

While in Greenville, I tried to get a Christmas card picture for YaYa and Big Daddy to send to their friends and family. I was not too successful...It is hard trying to get 3 children to cooperate for the camera! Here are some of my attempts. I am going to try again this weekend to get a good picture of the children so the Mannings can send New Year's cards!

The best shot I took...with 2/3 of the children fussy!

Hugh's first few days at home...

Hugh is home and we are doing great! He is such a good little sleeper, which is such a big help since I now have 2 other children to take care of. We came home to a warm house on Friday and my mom was here with us to help. She left on Monday and Ginger came to pick up Baby Frank for a few days. My mom was planning to come back today (Wed.), but I just found out yesterday that the floor man can start on the floors Thurs. (tomorrow)...The floors are being refinished so we have to be out of our house for a week. So, Frank and I (mostly Frank) have been busy packing up the house so they can get started in the morning. We are going to Greenville for the next week. Will things ever get back to "normal" around here??? Hugh giving us a little smile.

Mama and the boys.

Frank gives his brother a kiss!

Frank wants to be in on the action all the time!

Frank wants to help w/ everything!

YaYa with Hugh.

Hugh could sleep like this for hours!

Coming home from the hospital...

We are getting ready to leave the hospital...Hugh is ready to go home and see his big sister, Bess, and meet his big brother, Frank. Frank could not come and see him in the hospital because he had a bad cold.

I wish this was not so blurry, but it shows how excited Frank is about his little brother!

I'm not quite sure why Hugh's clothes were off!

Frank did not take his eyes off Hugh for one minute!

Hospital Pictures of Hugh

Mama and Hugh...He is such a sweet little baby... mostly sleeping and eating.

The proud father!

Missy, Cameron, and William came to the hospital for a quick visit.

We are home!

Thomas "Hugh" Manning arrived on Monday, November 24 at 1:35 p.m.

He weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches.

We came home on Thanksgiving to NO heat in part of the house...The heat in the bedroom addition, current den, and our old room was not working and the builder could not get it fixed until Friday morning. Mama, Bess, Hugh, and I ended up at The Whitney (a hotel near the house) and the Franks stayed at home in the warm part of the house. When we came home Fri. morning, the heat was fixed! We are doing fine, but things have been oh so busy here. I will post pics as soon as I can. Hugh is such a sweet boy!!!

Disney Pictures

We are getting ready to go to Disney World...But first, we'll stop and get some Dunkin Doughnuts!
Bess is excited! We are in the Magic Kingdom.

Bess is all ready to get some autographs from the princesses. One of Bess's favorite princesses is Ariel.

We went to hear Princess Belle read a story and guess who was chosen out of the audience to be the Beast? Frank! He made a great character!

Frank turned into a prince!

Bess has always loved Cinderella!
One of her favorite parts of the trip was getting autographs from the princesses.

Bess enjoyed going into Minnie's house. Of course, Frank had to go in first to make sure Minnie was not there. Bess did not want to run into a character!

Bess loved the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Somehow I climbed up, too!

We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom! I wish the camera had not broken during our second day, but we got some great pictures from Day 1. We're looking forward to going back again (this time with Frank) in a couple of years!
