I'm doing a little experiment with "Baby" Frank this week. He's been having a hard time lately. He's always spitting up (and I mean bad!) and it's gone from bad to worse lately. I even said Sunday that I was going to take him to the doctor this week to see about getting him back on the medicine for reflux (that he has been on several times this year).
For some reason Sunday night I thought about dairy and wondered if he could possibly have a little allergy to milk products. He is on soy formula and gets plenty of calcium since he's taking 3 bottles a day. Well, Monday I did not give him cheese or yogurt. It was hard because he LOVES both of these and he sees Bess eating them. He did much better Monday...I think he spit up a couple of times. Today, I continued the experiment and he did great! He's gone from doing this at least once or twice an hour (or more) to not doing it at all (today). Hopefully, the rest of the week will go well.
